JetBlue Airways Baggage Policy

Traveling with JetBlue for the first time? Not sure how much baggage is allowed as per your class? Well, worry not. JetBlue has a very simple and straightforward baggage policy to adhere to. For a better understanding, read the below-mentioned pointers.

Carry On Baggage

  • Each passenger is allowed to carry one bag and one personal item along with themselves. Moreover, the item should fit within the given overhead bin or the space beneath the seat.
  • Including wheels and handles, your carry-on bags should not exceed 22" L x 14" W x 9" H. Additionally, personal items must not exceed 17" L x 13" W x 8" H.
  • Do note JetBlue doesn’t have carry-on weight restrictions till now.

Checked Baggage

  • Passengers can add up to 2 checked bags anytime, from during the booking to when they arrive at the airport.
  • If you want to carry more than two bags, then you will be asked to pay the additional fees.
  • If your fare does not include checked bags, you’ll save money by paying in advance on the official website or on the JetBlue app (applicable to the first 2 checked bags.
  • Checked bags exceeding 62" (157.48 cm) in overall dimensions (length + width + height) or 50 pounds (22.68 kg) will also incur a fee.
